Terms and Conditions

The agreement between you and Bon Cheveux when you visit our site or book a service with us.

Welcome to Bon Cheveux Salon & Spa ("Bon Cheveux," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of boncheveuxsalon.com (the "Site") and the salon and spa services we provide.

By using the Site or booking any service with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. Booking appointments

Appointments may be requested through the Site, by phone at (360) 779-3993, by email, or in person. An appointment is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any appointment.

2. Deposits and payment

  • A deposit of [$AMOUNT or PERCENT%] may be required to secure certain services, including color, extensions, bridal, and long appointments.

  • Deposits are applied to the final cost of your service.

  • We accept [cash, major credit cards, and (if applicable) Wix Payments / Apple Pay / Venmo].

  • Prices are estimates until a stylist has completed your consultation. Final pricing depends on hair length, density, product used, and time required. We will discuss any price change with you before beginning the service.

3. Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows

We hold your appointment time exclusively for you. To be fair to our stylists and other guests, we ask that you give us notice if plans change.

  • Cancellations and reschedules — please give us at least [24 / 48] hours notice.

  • Late cancellations (less than [24 / 48] hours) may be charged [50% of the service cost] or forfeit the deposit.

  • No-shows may be charged [100% of the service cost] and may be required to prepay before booking again.

  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of booking privileges.

4. Late arrivals

If you arrive more than [15] minutes late, we may need to shorten your service, reschedule, or treat it as a no-show — whichever best serves you and the guests booked after you. Full price still applies.

5. Service satisfaction ("redo") policy

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not happy with your service, please let us know within [7] days of your appointment and we will make it right at no additional charge. A "redo" means adjusting the original service; it does not include a different service, a refund, or work done by another salon.

Because services are performed by hand, we do not offer refunds on completed services.

6. Retail product returns

  • Unopened retail products may be returned or exchanged within [14] days with proof of purchase.

  • Opened products may be exchanged for store credit if you have a reaction or the product doesn't perform as expected — please bring the product back with as much remaining as possible.

  • Tools, brushes, and sale items are final sale.

7. Gift cards

  • Gift cards do not expire and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced without proof of purchase.

  • Gift cards may be used toward services or retail products.

8. Consultations and honest recommendations

We provide honest consultations based on your hair, lifestyle, and budget. Certain results may not be achievable in a single visit or may not be appropriate for the condition of your hair. We will always tell you what is realistic before we begin.

You understand that hair services carry inherent risks — including but not limited to allergic reactions, breakage, and color variation — and you agree to disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, recent chemical services, medications, or scalp conditions before your service.

9. Minors

Guests under the age of [18] must have a parent or guardian present at check-in and, for chemical services, throughout the appointment. We do not perform chemical services on guests under [16] without a signed guardian consent form.

10. Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone who is disrespectful to our team or other guests, arrives impaired, presents a health or safety concern, or has a hair or scalp condition that we determine cannot be safely serviced.

11. Photography and social media

From time to time we photograph our work for our portfolio, website, and social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, or do not wish your photos to be shared, please let your stylist know. If we plan to share a photo that clearly identifies you, we will ask first.

12. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site

  • Use the Site to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content

  • Copy, reproduce, or republish content from the Site for commercial purposes without our written permission

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, and the "Bon Cheveux" name and marks — is the property of Bon Cheveux Salon & Spa or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

13. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or embed third-party services (for example, Wix Bookings, Google Maps, Instagram, or Pinterest). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

14. Disclaimers

The Site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Results of hair and beauty services vary from person to person. We make no guarantee of any specific outcome.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bon Cheveux Salon & Spa, its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or our services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to a service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bon Cheveux Salon & Spa and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claim or demand — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kitsap County, Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
